In the last few months, I have been involved in quite a several stuff, and I almost forgot that I also help small businesses rank on Google's first page when potential clients search for their products and services, or something related. 🙌
Yesterday, after a swell time at work, I made a very brief stopover at an eatery very close to the office, and as I was on transit, navigating back home, I got a subtle reminder by Google Map, asking that I should rate the place and my experience at the place, and right then, it clicked that there is something I haven't done for a while now.
Here is the message Google Map sent to me:
"You're popular, your reviews receive a minimum of 1,500 views, kindly leave a review for so so, and so eatery", and it happened to be the one I just left. 😋
In the last few years, I have listed notable businesses, and added dozens of locations to Google Map, and I am always happy 😊 to work with small businesses on those projects.
Last year, I was rated by Google Map as part of the top 30% popular reviewers on Google Maps, especially in onsite rating. Like, if I visit your restaurant, bar, lounge, hotel, business place, etc and leave a review afterwards, it will be seen by thousands of people and it will go viral. And that's what I have been doing. 😇
Let me quickly tell you the importance of what I do:
As a small business, once you have your location added and verified on Google maps, it is very easy for a client to get to you without even having to call you to ask for directions, because he or she can just search for your business on the map, either on his or her uber or bolt app, and in less than no time, he or she is with you without stress, and a transaction is done.
Another thing is if you're a business owner, and you don't have enough money to invest in Search Engine Optimization - SEO, or even build your first digital resume called website, getting your business 'Google My Business' and verified is the only legal backdoor in getting to Google's first page once people search for your business, or something related to your industry. 💪
In the last couple of years, I have helped individuals, businesses (ie, schools, brands, service providers, etc) get on the Google visibility game, and the result has been massive. ⚡
